En attendant le live de Danger qui n'est pas diffusé pour l'instant pour des problèmes de droits, voici le Arte Live des Acid Washed. 

"Dernières recrues de l’écurie Recordmakers (le label qui a démarré avec Air, et s’occupe aujourd’hui, entre autres, de Sébastien Tellier) les poulains Andrew Claristidge et Richard d'Alpert ont commencé leur aventure commune en 2009. Férus de Steve Reich et Giorgio Moroder, passionnés de machines, modernes ou vintage, ils s’attachent à développer un son qui conjugue le souci d’une électronique sophistiquée, l'attrait pour la pop et l'amour du dancefloor.

Leur album éponyme est sorti en 2010, incluant le single « General Motors, Detroit, America » au clip hypnotique. Ils ont  également été remixés par Danger, qui jouaient juste après eux ce soir là."

Space Is The Place

Oliver Huntemann revient sur le label Ideal Audio avec la suite de son concept "Play !", 3ème du nom enregistré cette fois au Cielo club de New York après Play! 02 [Live] Paris / France, lui-même faisant suite au Play! 01 [Live] Sao Paolo / Brazil. L'Allemand n'a pas failli à sa réputation avec une sélection mêlant techno et minimale donc le dévastateur N.Y.C (Keep On Playin), clip à l'appui ci-dessous.

"After D-Edge in Sao Paulo and Rex in Paris, Oliver Huntemann selected Cielo Club in New York to record his third compilation from the PLAY! series. Cielo is like no other. Tucked cosily in the ultra-hip Meat Packing District, and having won numerous awards for Best Club in New York, it seemed the perfect pick for this special project. 

The EP, introducing the compilation, consists of two tracks, which Oliver Huntemann produced specially for the Big Apple. A Slice of Nu-Disco

Après la sortie de leur 12'' General Motors, Detroit, America/Snake (feat. Barbara Panther) en 2009, le duo parisien Acid Washed a lancé en 2010 son premier EP suivi du premier album éponyme. Un album aux tendances bien différentes: electro vintage, "synth-pop", electronica atmosphérique, de la bonne vieille techno (Detroit style) et des airs disco funk. Pourquoi ? Parce que les deux amis Dj's ont autant envie de faire bouger le dancefloor que de faire de la musique mélodieuse et éclectique. Ci-dessous 2 titres de l'album signé sur Record Makers.

"Acid Washed is a two-man process primarily, deteriorating sound amongst souvenirs, friends, home studios and analogue equipment.

The result is a fusion of late nineties filter house and DFA disco anthems that acknowledges the influence of Chicago and Detroit without being overly reverential. Throw names like Steve Reich, Giorgio Moroder into the hat as well if you like, but don't dwell on them. Cosmic tunes for the party tonight.

Collaboration is the key to Acid Washed; the list of big-name players involved is set to run and run. Live @ La Gaîté Lyrique

" Après plusieurs années à naviguer dans l’underground entre électro et hip-hop, Para One (de son vrai nom Jean-Baptiste de Laubier) est un artiste touche-à-tout, capable de bandes sons éthérées (pour La Naissance des Pieuvres en 2007), comme de productions house (écouter sur son dernier EP Kiwi /Toadstool sorti en 2010, les morceaux Kiwi... et Toadstool).

Parisien lui aussi, Tacteel (alias Jérôme Echenoz dans le civil) est DJ et producteur de rap et d’électro. Co-fondateur du label Institubes, il collabore régulièrement avec Para One sur la production de différents projets : notamment au sein du collectif hip-hop L’Atelier ou du groupe TTC. Ensemble, ils commettent aussi quelques remixes dont, récemment, pour Bot'ox. "
